The play

“ Nothing fixes a thing so intensely in the memory as the wish to forget it”
Michel de Montaigne

Rafi has been secretly in love with Lenny for as long as he can remember. As a child, he was the only silent witness to the abuse Lenny suffered at the hands of her father. For the past three years, Rafi has been following his childhood sweetheart. When he realizes Lenny has criminal intentions toward her father, Rafi asks her to fly with him to Alaska.

The story of Lenny and Rafi moves back and forth in time, painting the image of two emotionally damaged characters with a shared childhood memory.
Through burning and freezing, remembering and imagining, the igloo is present as a peaceful haven in the midst of the couple’s revenge fantasy.
